Available: September 20 and November 9 This one-night women-only backpacking trip along the Snake River offers a supportive, EmpowHering environment for those new to backcountry camping. Whether you're looking to build confidence outdoors, connect with nature, or just enjoy a peaceful night under the stars with like-minded women, this trip is designed to be accessible, low-pressure, and rewarding. Trip Overview: Duration: 2 days / 1 night Who It's For: Women of all ages (18+) who are new to backpacking or looking to gain more confidence outdoors in a welcoming, beginner-friendly environment. Backpacking Distance: ~4–5 miles each way Difficulty: Easy to Moderate Maximum Backpackers: 8 Trip Highlights: Basic skills training videos available at registration: how to pack, pitch a tent, filter water, and manage hygiene in the backcountry Plus - a personal, up to 30-minute call with your guide, Kristina A gentle riverside trail with minimal elevation, perfect for beginners All-women group for a comfortable, supportive experience Time to slow down and reconnect—think journaling by the water, meaningful conversations, and supportive community An evening of stargazing and shared stories Itinerary: Within a week of registration: Access to the Google Drive for your trip will be provided to you. This includes access to training videos, packing list and a link to a survey. Please complete survey before your meeting with Kristina - this includes vital medical, dietary restrictions and preferences, and gear information. 4 to 6 Weeks Prior to Trip: One-on-one call with your guide, Kristina. We will discuss dietary needs, medical concerns, current physical abilities and training plan to get or stay in shape, gear and packing. About 2 Weeks Prior to Trip: Virtual Meet & Greet Day 1: Meet at the trailhead mid-morning. After a quick orientation and group check-in, hike 2.5–3.5 miles along a scenic, flat trail beside the Snake River. Set up camp near the historic Preist Ranch and have a delicious backcountry lunch! No freeze-dried meals here! Those with more energy can take a guided, 6 miles round trip hike (3 there, 3 back) to a field of petroglyphs. In the evening, share a group meal, followed by reflection, making new friends or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Day 2: Wake up to a quiet morning and enjoy a relaxed breakfast together. Pack up camp and hike back to the trailhead, aiming to finish by early afternoon.

We understand that plans can change, but due to the limited availability of our classes, workshops and trips, all bookings are final and non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your scheduled session, we do not offer cancellations or refunds. However, you may request to transfer your registration to a future session of the same type. Transfers are not guaranteed and are based on availability and instructor discretion. To request a transfer, please contact us at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot promise an alternate date will be available. By registering, you agree to this policy.
