In 2019, with our children grown and the wilderness calling, my husband and I moved from Detroit, Michigan to Boise, Idaho. We sought the majesty of the mountains, solitude of the forests, and tranquility of the rivers to feed our deep desire for adventure. Once here, our first and most important purchase was our Bogus Basis season ski passes! No couch or mattress in the apartment, but we could ski (in three months)!
We have been frequent travelers for over 15 years. Always looking to educate ourselves while enjoying the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountains.
Some of our adventures include: backpacking on Kauai, the Enchantments, Isle Royale, and countless other trips in Idaho, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio and more; glissading in Alaska; white water rafting in West Virginia and Idaho; downhill skiing in Whistler, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, and more!
I have my Wilderness First Aid certification, CPR certified and am a Leave No Trace trainer.
While I have enjoyed creating and presenting countless corporate trainings in my banking and tech career; there are many outdoor topics I would rather train on!
