Boys Are Dumb T-Shirt - Profits go to work with the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage

It’s a phrase that started in our house as a little humor and a lot of perspective. I’ve often said it to my daughters when they were frustrated with the silly things boys sometimes do — the eye-rolling moments, the annoying breakups, and the small dramas that feel big at the time. It wasn’t meant with bitterness. It was meant with a smile, a reminder that sometimes you just have to shake your head, laugh, and keep moving forward.
 
Years later, my 26-year-old daughter asked for a “Boys are Dumb” shirt for her birthday because, as she put it, “It’s iconic… and (lovingly) true.” That moment made me realize the phrase had become something bigger for us. It represents resilience, humor, and the ability to keep your confidence when life throws frustrating moments your way.
 
EmpowHer Outdoors was built on a similar idea. Women and girls often face challenges in the outdoors differently. Instead of relying on brute force, we problem-solve, adapt, and think our way through obstacles. That mindset builds confidence, independence, and strength.
